BLUEBIRD HOUSES

 

September, 2008 six bluebird houses were erected in the N. P. C. A.'s new extension of E. C. Brown Park in anticipation of the Grand Opening of E.C. Brown Wetlands. 

 

The houses were donated by Landcare Niagara and maintenance will be the responsibility of WRK.   More bluebird houses will be placed in various locations along the Welland River.  They will be tagged with numbers for location identification and monitored.

                                        

We are also hoping to install our first member commemorative bench in E. C. Brown Wetlands before the official grant opening on Monday, September 15, 2008.

      We plant trees, build buffers, clean up the watershed, & much, much more. It's educational and fun.. bring the family.
